Before
The area, intended as the courtyard of a newly built, modern kindergarten, was initially an undeveloped, non-functional space. Although the building itself met contemporary standards, the outdoor area did not yet provide a suitable environment for play, development, or community activities for children.
The goal was to create a comprehensive kindergarten courtyard and playground that would complement the modern institution in a meaningful and appropriate way.
Today, the kindergarten courtyard has been transformed into a modern, safe, and inspiring playground, perfectly aligned with the clean architectural style of the new building.
The space supports not only free play but also actively contributes to children’s motor, sensory, and cognitive development.
This courtyard has become: an experiential learning space, a community area, and a safe play environment, where children enjoy their everyday activities, while the institution benefits from a long-term, sustainable, and value-driven solution.
Implementation
Following the design phase, a modern, educational, and safety-focused implementation was carried out, addressing all functional and regulatory requirements.
During construction, special emphasis was placed on:
- Installing modern playground equipment compliant with EU standards
- Creating educational paving solutions that support learning and exploration
- Applying sensory and tactile elements to enhance children’s developmental skills
- Carefully designed plantings that create a welcoming, nature-oriented environment
- Laying turf grass as a safe and comfortable play surface
- Installing a fully automated irrigation system to ensure sustainable maintenance of green areas
Throughout the implementation, modern aesthetics, durability, and child-friendly design remained top priorities.
