Before

Our design and implementation team was entrusted with the task of transforming the courtyard of a private family home. The goal was to create a space that feels both contemporary and timeless — a functional, sustainable garden that preserves the authentic, rural atmosphere of its surroundings.

A unique challenge of the project was the integration of a vegetable garden in a way that maintained it as an organic, seamless part of the courtyard — a nature-based “playground” for both children and adults. It was essential for us to design a space that, while embracing the rural character, remains easy to maintain, family-friendly, and adapted to modern living.

After

The renewed courtyard now radiates warmth, simplicity, and functionality. The vegetable garden is no longer just a practical feature — it has become a cherished, educational, and interactive part of the garden for the whole family.

The new design offers space for relaxation, play, gardening, and connection with nature — all within a harmonious setting that reflects the spirit of the home and the character of the surrounding landscape.

Implementation

During the implementation phase, we placed great emphasis on spatial clarity and functional coherence — ensuring that every element fits together naturally and that the garden remains legible, usable, and visually harmonious.

The vegetable garden was not treated as a separate zone, but integrated into the layout as a multifunctional, interactive space — equally accessible for learning, recreation, and productive gardening.

Local, climate-adapted plant species were used for the green spaces, offering low-maintenance solutions while visually resonating with the rural setting. Natural materials, minimalist paving, and understated garden furniture were selected to reflect a timeless, grounded aesthetic. Special attention was given to child-friendly design and long-term sustainability.
