Before

The site of Küküllő Camp is set in a stunning natural environment, rich in landscape features — yet the raw terrain lacked the structure required for a functional and welcoming green space. The goal was to design and implement a nature-oriented, yet well-organized outdoor area that would provide long-term comfort and aesthetic value to future visitors.

After

Although the project is still underway, the transformation is already taking shape: the Küküllő Camp site is evolving into a structured, nature-infused green oasis. The newly established turf and hedgerows are beginning to give character to the space, and they already hint at the calm, welcoming atmosphere that will soon embrace its guests.

Implementation

The process began with detailed soil preparation — a foundational step for building a lasting green infrastructure. The lawn areas were seeded using precision equipment to ensure uniform, dense, and resilient turf growth.

To create both visual and functional structure, we installed edging to clearly define plant beds and circulation paths. Woven geotextile-lined gravel bands added both aesthetic texture and practical water drainage solutions.

To enhance privacy around the housing units, we planted hornbeam hedges — creating a natural visual barrier between residential and public zones while preserving the rural charm of the setting.

Thanks to a well-coordinated team and professional-grade equipment, the project has progressed steadily and to the highest standards — toward the creation of a carefully curated, community-centered green infrastructure.
